Dr Yalda Heidari

Dr Yal is an experienced General Practitioner who qualified from UCL (University College London) in 2004. She was a GP partner in Central London for 10 years and looked after a practice population of nearly 8000 patients. Most recently she has worked as a GP in Bondi, Sydney, Australia for the last 3 years.

Dr Yal’s specialist interests are:

• Mental Health
• Women’s Health
• Family Planning
• Paediatrics
• Health Screening and health checks

Dr Yal enjoys all aspects of General Practice and has a special interest in Mental Health and Women’s Health. She has completed the Focussed Psychological Strategies Skills Training in Australia and has extended her mental health work.

Dr Yal is passionate about medical education and has supervised GP trainees and medical students. She also has management experience and was previously elected as a clinical member of the Governing Body of the NHS Central London Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) for Westminster, London.

In her spare time, Dr Yal is a runner and baking enthusiast.
